Official Dart Board Height
The World Darts Federation governs the national organizing bodies of darts in all member nations, including the United States. The WDF sets the official dart board height regulations and enforces those rules among its worldwide members.
The bullseye should be 5 feet and 8 inches from the floor. The throwing line should be 7 feet and 9 1/4 inches away. This is measured in a perpendicular line to the center of the board, not from the wall that the board is hung on. For the best results measure directly from the center of the board. Reember! The “20″ section should always be at the top.
There are some exceptions however, soft-tip dart boards should be 8 feet away.
Always remember to throw your darts in a clear open area, away from things that are easily broken. Safety is a major thing while throwing darts, remember that they were once a weapon and still have the potential to poke someone’s eye out!
